it's a 'chick flick' as opposed to a 'dick flick', a phrase coined by Gloria Steinam. It's a story that interested me, I'm not too concerned with labeling. I don't think it was meant in a bad way. I think it was meant as a means of letting video sto…
I write in many mediums; prose, screenplay, plays; but all in service of the story. There's nothing better than disappearing into a world only to reemerge altered by the event.

Hi. I just read the article in the Hudson Valley magazine and it seemed to bring me back to my theatre days. I was about 25 when I 'fell' into theatre and knew it was my passion. But because of commitments and responsibilities in the 'real world' I had to leave theatre for real wages. I still have all of my Stage Management books and theatre books and over the last month have been re-reading my old Writer's Handbook as I have many ideas and want to get back to something I love.
Reading the article sort of gave me a nice push to continue to pursue writing again, but at this point I will be taking baby steps and starting with outlines of ideas and short stories. I hope to publish them here and will look forward to comments and critiques.

Book Synopsis:
The sleepy town of Newbury, Connecticut, is shocked when a little girl is found brutally murdered. The town s top detective, perplexed by a complete lack of leads, calls in FBI agent Leia Bines, an expert in cases involving children.
Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Gram, a psychiatrist at Newbury s hospital, searches desperately for the cause of seven-year-old Naya Hastings devastating nightmares. Afraid that she might hurt herself in the midst of a torturous episode, Naya s parents have turned to the bright young doctor as their only hope.
The situations confronting Leia and Peter converge when Naya begins drawing chilling images of murder after being bombarded by the disturbing images in her dreams. Amazingly, her sketches are the only clues to the crime that has panicked Newbury residents. Against her better judgment, Leia explores the clues in Naya s crude drawings, only to set off an alarming chain of events.
In this stunning psychological thriller, innocence gives way to evil, and trust lies forgotten in a web of deceit, fear, and murder.
